The black leather is glossy in the picture which is what we wanted for his suit. When received it’s a flat black matte leather. We ordered the brown as well with this order and they are perfect and glossy.

You can find these for a decent price and they come in multiple colors. The not great part is they’re not very supportive and has to add inserts but that’s not uncommon for shoes. We’ve found our son loves these shoes too!

Purchased these shoes to wear at a wedding. Shoes fit true to size, are comfortable and durable. Danced all night and my feet felt fine in them. I have size EE width feet and there was no problem with comfort. Would recommend and will purchase a pair in brown also.

I saw a lot of comments about the scuff. This scuff in the photo happened before I even left the house. I don't know how. Someone posted how to get rid of it. I have to find that review. Other than that, they're comfy. I've only been wearing them for 5 hours but my feet don't feel sweaty. They perforation isn't all the way through, there's a protective lining so they might how up well enough in light rain. I think they're rubber. Love the extra back padding on the heal. These were well thought out when designed. Nice office shoes. The ball of foot feels cushioned. My arches aren't rest on a mound but I don't think I'll get fatigue. It's like it's form to foot over time. Make sure to pull the tongue all the way up to release any pressure on the top of the foot, for those with thick feet.
