Also ich hatte mit meinem Philips Luftbefeuchter Filter Probleme,wenn da ein bisschen Wasser übrig war "vergessen auszuschütten" und es über das Wochenende mit Wasser da stand , war am Montag Morgen, der Filter total verschimmelt. Das ist mir jetzt 3 mal passiert. Der Stadler Form Ionic Silver Cube™ scheint zu wirken, bis jetzt weder Schimmel noch Bakterien am Filter und das es für 1 Jahr halten soll, ist mehr als ausreichend.Von mir klare Kaufempfehlung und ich finde gutes P/L Verhältnis, ich gebe selten volle 5 Sterne, hier kann ich es ruhigen Gewissens machen.

Fits well in the Air O Swiss, and works better than the original silver stick that actually contained silver. The new replacement for the silver stick didn't seem to work at all, but this product worked better than I expected, and lasted all season. Would recommend to anyone who need a product like this.

It helps to keep the tank clean of odors and is recommended to be used with the Stadler Form Humidifier. I change mine out every year. It does not prevent white dust build up, nor is it advertised to do that, as you will need a filter for that. If you have a Stadler Form Humidifier, you need to install one of these and change them out yearly plus a de-mineralization cartridge frequently.

From the picture, I thought this would be the size of a brick. It's about the size if the end of my thumb. And after 3 weeks use, is covered with junk it has pulled out of my water. The water is very hard and the piping in my rented home is pvc. I will probably have to replace this at six months but at this point it feels worth it. Totally satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased this filter in April 2012. I know it's meant for humidifiers, but I have a large indoor fountain and was becoming weary of changing the water weekly, so I thought it was worth the $25 to try it. After all, moving water is moving water... be it in a humidifier or pumped through a fountain. This little cube has lasted an entire year plus, and I'm back to order my second one. It's done a nice job of keeping the water in the basin clear and for the most part, free of that slimy gunky stuff, as well as cut down on the mineral build-up.

I ran our AIr O Swiss Air Washer for a month before submitting that I needed one of these. During that month, the air washer pulled the dust & allergens out of the air & into the water; but then without the Silver Cube, scum started to accumulate in the water dish. Then I purchased the Silver Cube and installed it over the past couple of months and only the small flocculated dirt particles are present during the monthly cleanouts- hardly any of the bacteria scum that was present without the silver. I wouldn't have actually been a believer, had I not conducted the 'experiment' myself; but I saw the difference of results over three months- I'd rather have saved the $25 myself. So there is your unbiased feedback.
