I got this stage light for two reasons: 1. to light up behind the DJ "booth" 2. to synch the light with the beat of the music, both in clubs and for private events. This light is stellar for both purposes! The Telbum stage PAR light ("PAR" stands for Parabolic Aluminized Reflector, which means that it is a focused, and directional, beam of light) is compact and lightweight, perfect for a traveling DJ. It comes with an array of features from white light to a dizzying number of colored light options. Its modes include stage light, color jump, gradual color transitions, strobe, static, and sound sync. In addition, it has linear dimming, which is a nice feature. In the short time that I have had it, this PAR light has added another dimension to my Djing, and it has been very popular with those in attendance. I am beyond satisfied with my purchase!

There are a large number of LED fixtures available under the $100 mark. The vast majority of them are, in my experience, useful for House parties or DJing in a smaller room.This one is a definite exception. While I wouldn't use it in Madison Square Garden, I'm more than happy to use this in my small venue with 13 ft ceiling over a 16x10 ft stage. This particular one has been set up to spotlight / highlights / draw attention to the tip bucket.Like that I've seen him price category, I like using a cheap flashlight. This one's responsive as a decent strobe, and most importantly isn't drowned out by the reasonable power of the lights around it.People can see the tip bucket and it's subtle and obvious and has already resulted in increased tips by the audience for the bands that play there

Some negatives, and a host of positives. This fixture has a wide range of "white" light options and therefore ideal when it comes to adjusting lighting conditions for stage and especially for photo studio work. While the built-in programs are great, but I'm not certain that they useful for most stage work as there is no RGB, only sheds of white.Pic-1 is the controller display, and has no protective bezel that many currently available fixtures utilize. Hopefully, the display is not easily damaged. Pic-2 is an pen view of the construction. Very well arranged, and a large fan (Pic-6) on top of a vey significant heat sink. The switch mode power supply in Pic-4 generates 2 voltages to handle the high current/output of the 50-watt each LEDs. Pic-5 is the controller/display board with all connections as headers & sockets, including anti-vibration doping! Kudos. Even the fan in Pic-6 is assembled with 4 screws (instead of simple clips utilized on many of the current imports). Pic-7 is close-up of the dual 50-watt LEDs and temperature sensor (of which the results can be displayed on the controller, or even queried via DMX!.Pic-8 is where we start with some negatives. The Amazon listing from the seller states 120-watts, yet another view displays "2*100W COB LED" which would be 200-watts total. Google Lens this LED image and confirming model number "PX1917" results in finding out that the actual output is only 50-watts each ---> 100-watts TOTAL! Some things simply don't add up. However, it is a really bright fixture! Another negative is the setup with the support bar. There is only 1, and therefore fairly useless for the advertised "up lighting". From Pic-9, is is obvious that it cannot sit in a tilted position on on the floor, and still have a PowerCon connection and an XLR connection. Therefore, it can only be supported by a truss, or positioned on the floor HORIZONTALLY (i.e. NOT at an angle upwards)!Pic-10&11 are a portion of the User Manual so that you may see the extensive set of controls that are possible.The final negative is rather concerning. A manufacturing issue as seen in Pic-12. Machining of the aluminum heat dissipation fins resulted in some flashing debris that was loose in between some of the aluminum fins. They were large enough to have caused a short on the power supply or display/controller board if the fixture was placed with the lenses facing upward, and then sharply jostled.Final rating reflects both the discrepancy in light output power, inability to setup for up lighting, and poor quality control after machining of the aluminum heatsink. BUT - IT REALLY IS A PROFESSIONAL FIXTURE! IMHO

This was defective out of the box! Only one light turned on and it wasn't bright at all. I contacted company via email but got no response.

I now own ten of these, and they’ve been consistently reliable across all units.The color output is solid — bright reds, greens, blues, and clean whites — with very smooth blending across colors.These lights are lightweight, compact, and feature PowerCon in and out for proper professional chaining.A few design notes:• The beam angle is around 65 degrees, giving you a wide, soft wash — great for covering stages, walls, or ceilings evenly.• The yoke is 180 degrees, which can make downward mounting over truss bars a little tricky. You’ll usually need to clamp it off-angle if you want a straight downward shot.• The internal fan only kicks on under heavier loads and stays relatively quiet.• DMX setup is straightforward: 4-channel and 9-channel modes.(Just remember to manually "save" your DMX address after setting it.)Other quick highlights:• Power draw is around 83 watts at full output — really good for budget LED gear.Overall:If you’re looking for affordable, wide, colorful wash lights that behave reliably over DMX, these absolutely deliver.They aren’t COB (Chip-On-Board) units - they appear to use clusters of T1-style discrete LEDs positioned behind a diffuser to simulate a COB look. For the performance you get at this price, I highly recommend them.

Good for white light needs.The LEDs are COBS and very bright.Would be great for photographyMy only gripe is the controls and display are not protected and could get damaged easily if you are not careful in packing it up for road use.Easy to mount with the adjustable yoke.DMX control too. Nice!And power pass thru as well. Double nice!
