If you can get past the lack of brand prestige, you need to buy this cymbal! Sounds awesome and getting a B20 cymbal at this price is honestly a steal. It is perfect on it's own but I use it in a stack. Paired with my 14" aax xplosion fast crash - finally found the stack sound I have been working hard to get! Very happy! Stagg is a Chinese manufacturer and obviously know how to make a great china cymbal.

I bought this because I like smaller 14" accent china's and this is a nice addition to my collection. It's less expensive but still comparable to the major brand's top cymbal lines. The reason for that is, it's a Cast cymbal made with the B20 bronze. The DH stands for "Dual Hammered." I also own and used the 13" Stagg China SH (single hammered.) That too is a desirable cymbal and the reason for getting this new one. These China's have that trashy cutting sound I wanted but they're both warm rather than being harsh sounding.

I have religiously used zildjian A & A Custom's exclusively my whole career, but have recently put together a pretty sweet multi-perc setup, so I decided to give something different a try. I was (and still am) concerned with Stagg's durability (only time will tell), but was impressed with the fact that they (the DH series) are B20 alloy, and upon recieving them, am VERY impressed with their sound at their respective price point!!! I would highly recommend them to others.PS: feelin' quirky? Try out Stagg's gongs! I have their 26" Chau & 20" Wind gongs, and they are INCREDIBLE!!!
