We got a used little boat that didn't have anywhere to put a drink. We got these and were able to put them anywhere we wanted and they were the perfect size. We have used the boat since we installed them, and they keep the drinks from rolling all over everywhere.

I'm using them outside on my patio under my deck. I screwed them in to the deck posts with the supplied hardware. They are perfect for a place to put a drink rather than setting it on the ground. It seems like they are meant to be mounted on a slightly angled surface. Mine in the picture is mounted on a vertical deck post and as you can see the cup is tipped slightly. Not a major concern. They fit my Ozark tumbler and hold it snug. Not sure what the supplied silicone sleeves are for. They only fit on a Coors light can.
