This is a well made component. Using it to control pressure in an RO system for maple sap reduction. The 1/4" npt threads worked well with the quick-connect fittings I used, and the knob is easy to grip and dial in the opening size with small adjustments. It seems like a beefy unit that should perform its operation for years to come.

I purchased this because I have a vacuum oven for cleaning hydrocarbons out of extracts. This valve goes between the vacuum oven and the atmosphere and it allows me to open it up to let air back into the chamber so I can open the door. My valve was leaking so I figured this would be a good solution, an inexpensive fix. So far so good, it's working well and it's holding vacuum down to negative 30. We're at sea level so I'm able to achieve a full vacuum and it's absolutely critical that the valve does not leak at all in order to achieve that. A similar valve at a local laboratory store was $60 so I think this was a good buy, I definitely see value in this item. The jury's out with regards to longevity, but I'll report back if I run into an issue before the service life of this valve should be over.

304 stainless steel needle valve, NPT 1/2 female micro flow control valve for water/oil/gas, 1pcI'm building a small RO (Reverse Osmosis) filter system for separating water from Maple sap. I needed a stainless steel needle valve to adjust the flow through rate which makes the filters do their job. The Napredak 304 stainless steel needle valve was just what I needed. All my piping is 1/4" plastic tubing so I fitted some stainless steel adapters to fit the tubing. This is a food quality valve and won't add anything unexpected to my final product which is Maple syrup.
