A simple tool yet useful. I usually use my hands to separate the whites and yolks. I know there are other ways to do it but I have never broken a yolk using my hands. I am happy to have this little tool so far it works well, but only time will tell if it will provide the same consistent results as my hands do. It also came with a pastry brush so that was a nice bonus.

I love making flan for my family. I don't love separating the yolks and the whites though, each batch takes 12 egg-yolks. Tried this separator and it makes quick work of separating yolks and eggs. The silicone brush come in handy at fising out any stay shells.

Beware that the handle is not completely round if you have sensitive hands holding this might be a little uncomfortable for you in this so far is the best egg separator I have ever purchased I have bad exactly 3 from Amazon and one from the school fundraiser and those songs hit the garbage cans they were plastic this stainless steel egg separator is too impressive you can put it on the 8 inch wide bowl I measured it does have a little lip so it would rust on the ball which probably explains the flat handle it’s curved in the front so there’s a little in the den in the back of it And it’s a generous size it will handle anything from a small leg to an extra large egg. Finally somebody got it right with an egg separator and I practice you legs just to give you this review and eggs or something we don’t crack lightly anymore. But this separator will make it easier for you not to waste an egg by breaking a yolk that’s for sure I highly recommend this please note though that the edges are not rounded on the handle this is not something you’d let a toddler play with while you’re cooking in the kitchen. There is very little of that could be improved upon maybe , just the handle.

This egg white sift has a great design and is very sturdy and well crafted. It gets the job done and looks nice too!
