Its design can clip on belt, belt hook, and just waistband. The open turning is a little bit tight in the beginning but it will become smooth after a while.

The clip is a little narrower than my belts. My belts are like 1 1/4” wide, and it barely covers the belt and closes properly. But it is strong, and I use it daily. But I am not using the clip like I had imagined

Bought this to solve two problems: first I was tired of tearing the belt loop I clipped my keys to then second I bought two pairs of pants that didn't have belt loops at all. This little item addressed both concerns, now I don't have to worry about damaging my belt loops and I don't even need the loops at all. This is a perfect solution to the issues.
