When I saw this stainless steel stand lift device, I immediately thought it could be good to have around when the opportunity arises. Although, the listing indicates the possible uses are for laboratory and industrial applications, I thought it would also be appropriate for household use such as raising the end of a long object in order to make it level on a workbenchThe lift appears to be manufactured very well with a good sized (4”x4”) nicely finished platform. It is solid and sturdy even when raised to the highest position (6”). The rubber pads on the bottom are good sized which will help prevent movement on a slippery surface. The lift mechanism works smoothly and is easy to use.The only negative is that my lift arrived with a slightly bend corner of the platform which will not affect the product’s performance at all. I couldn’t tell if it was due to a manufacturer’s defect or shipping.
