Looks so much better than the plastic hooks. They have lasted over a month so far and is able to hold some of the heavier coats.

I had a metal plate that held 6 hooks similar in size to these - and it pulled out of the wall when fully loaded with work/outdoor clothes (attached to drywall since no studs in the right place). I got these hooks to replace them. They are about the same size, but individual hooks. So I got a nicely finished piece of 1x4 and attached it to the studs and stuck these hooks to it. I was a little worried about the adhesive holding, but figured I could drill some holes for screws if they fell off. It's been two weeks with a full load of gardening and shop clothes hanging - and it's working GREAT! I like the large back plate. I think the large amount of adhesive area provided is their secret of success. I really like that they are individual hooks so I could get the wider spacing that I really needed for clothing. And they look so good (when you can see them) mounted on wood. Fantastic hooks!
