This is a complete fridge water line kit, effective for hooking up fridge water / freezer ice makers. It is 10 ft long, which provides more than enough length for most fridge scenarios. It seems to be well constructed and comes with all of the pieces you'll require.I recommend reviewing installation videos online for any kind of plumbing, as even with a quality kit, challenges can occur. Good kit.

The 1/4" hose was a perfect fit.As explained in the directions, be careful not to over-tighten the fitting. If you do, you risk creating a crack in the built-in washer, which, which will eventually leak. Teflon tape is not required for the hose fitting; the built-in washer makes the seal.

My ice maker connection was made with the typical 1/4" plastic tubing. While the plastic can last for years, I have had them fail in the past and was lucky enough to catch it quickly, avoiding potentially major damage. This water line kit is the solution to this issue. It’s a good kit containing the hose, a tee valve, a stamped steel wrench and a roll of Teflon tape so it has everything you need. Since I just wanted to replace the water line itself, I didn’t need the other pieces but it was nice to have them included. The 10 foot length gives plenty of room to move the refrigerator away from the wall for access and the high flexibility of the hose makes it easy to roll up behind the fridge. Now, I don’t need to worry about water damage due to my ice maker connection.

I recently ordered the Boltigen Refrigerator Water Line Kit to replace the plastic tubing on my fridge’s ice maker. I was looking for something more durable, and this stainless steel braided kit fit the bill perfectly. The kit includes everything you need to install the water line, including the 10-foot braided hose, a water line splitter, a wrench, and sealing tape, making the setup process much simpler than I expected.The 10-foot hose is the right length for most fridge setups, offering plenty of room to move the refrigerator for access without any issues. The stainless steel braid adds a lot of strength to the hose, and I can already tell it’s going to last longer than the old plastic tubing that often tends to kink or crack. The material used for the hose feels high-quality, and I appreciate that it's resistant to kinks. The brass tee stop valve and chrome coating add a nice touch to the overall durability of the kit.Installation was a breeze. The directions were clear, and the included wrench made tightening the fittings easy. One thing I noticed was that the hose connections have built-in washers, so there’s no need for Teflon tape unless you want an extra seal, but it wasn’t necessary in my case. The connections were snug, and I haven’t noticed any leaks, which is always a concern when dealing with water lines. I was able to finish the job in less than 30 minutes with no complications, and now I’m enjoying clean, filtered water and ice again.Overall, I’m really pleased with the Boltigen Refrigerator Water Line Kit.
