This part is made steel to protect the front and rear gear box from sand and rocks as well as the impact when driving. steel is also corrosion resistance great when exposed to the combination of air and moisture.
Thoughtful design with positioning holes for the screws of upper part of the main shaft so you won't need to remove the gear box protector to install the main shaft.

The transmission skid fit fine. The diff covers were another issue. The mounting tabs were bent too short and would not line up with the mounting holes. Because of this I can not recommend them.

Cheap non. Professional fit not polished like hot racing product . Dented dull holes didn't line up
