Unboxing this well made, sturdy bird feeder camera. The camera provided very high quality image and video. I am sure that my boys will love it while capturing the footage of the birds in our backyard.

This is my first *metal* bird feeder with a camera. My first impression is the yellow is bright and cheerful and it feels so sturdy. I LOVE that the charger port on back is a dongle, coming through the back, sealed. So many have a hole with a rubber gasket seal that has to be removed to plug in the cord which is not ideal for protection from moisture. This design is way better. The top of the camera has a good connection system as well that seems to be designed to protect from moisture.Camera quality is about the same as my other $100-150 camera feeders. It came with the storage card, so no extra expense there. The motion detector is quite sensitive at the moderate setting. It uses the Tris home app.Cons- the roof/ granary lid does not swing all the way open; it would be easier to fill if the lid moved more out of the way. The fruit spike seems kinda sharp/dangerous.

I’m loving that it’s solar powered!Heavy duty material. The birds seem attracted to the yellow feeder too. The birds are loving it but it takes a bit of time to get the internet to get the program working. Once it starts working it is great. You can also got to the feeder and download the pictures to your phone or tablet or laptop. Many options with this feeder. I’ve looked at this several times and I’m not disappointed with it.

I actually got this birdhouse cause recently we saw different kinds of birds posing around our house and my two children were very curious about them so what best way to be able to see the birds up close then with the camera. And without interrupting them while they eat. My two children are just amazed at every time a Bluejay comes and eats food and they always are asking for my phone so they can see if there is a bird eating at any time and it’s a nice reminder for them to take care of animals or any living creature for that matter.
