These wires are delivered in a tube that protects them and they are all straight with no bends. Generally when you get wire as thin as some of these rods they are bent, so that is a huge benefit.Only problem is these are not organized or labeled, you simply have a tube full of thin spring rods, some so thin they could pass for acupuncture wire.While they will work good for springs, I use them for hinges in complex projects, the stainless steel keeps them from rusting.

These are steel rods you can use for making custom springs. The variety of options ranges from very thin to very thick so you can make the correct spring size. You would use pliers to bend them into the desired shape and they will spring back into place. They are delivered in a PVC pipe to keep them from being bent in transit and for storage. There are no labels on the wires themselves, so you'll need to measure them with calipers if you need to distinguish the smaller sizes.
