So, where do I begin, and how do I best explain what I mean? The pros first, I guess, these stainless steel gap fillers are high-quality, super easy to install, are adjustable, and look great while also blending with the range. Being stainless steel, they are easy to clean and mostly work great at filling that horrible gap between the range and countertop. The keyword there was "mostly". It was hard to tell from the product pictures if these fillers were a T-shape or not because they never actually show them in a way to tell that they are an L-shape instead. I wanted to replace the silicone gap fillers that I had with these, and that silicone version was a T. With this being an L, it still allows for crumbs and such to fall between the cabinets and the range. Let's not even get into what happens if you spill something, especially liquids. So, in my opinion, this product would be greatly improved with a shape change. My "true rating" (patent/copyright pending🤣) is 7.5 out of 10.🐻 *Statement/Disclaimer: This review is part of Amazon's Vine Program, which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for sincere/frank reviews. Needed something to fill the gap between our stove and the adjacent countertop. These are adjustable and fit the bill. Nothing fancy, and a little pricey for what they are (hence deducting a star). You might consider putting a piece of double sided tape on the side which doesn't have a flange (only flanged on one side, so "L" shaped, not "T" shaped) to hold it tight. It's actually smart to have the flange only on one side because if it didn't then the stove would need to be perfectly level with the countertop which is rarely the case. Overall, they do the job they're intended for, but spendy for what you get.

They look nice and fit into tight gaps, the only issue is that they fall just a little short of completing their task. One side on the top is flush with the insert point, which means they do not completely fill the gap as the flush side still offers a little space. If the top lip extending out both sides, like a "T" these would completely cover the gap.

When I moved into my 1967 Frank Loyd inspired house, there was one long counter with a cooktop in it. I fell in love with the Lacanche range and decided to order one, have it installed and that included cutting the counter and the cabinets. This left a gap between the range and the counter that was (emphasis here) the perfect place for anything and everything to fall down. Initially when I had it installed, the only thing I saw for an option were those ugly silicone ones so I waited in hopes I would find something that matched my range. Then, I found these adjustable stainless steel gap fillers. Today I installed them and now, the range finally looks like it belongs and is all one unit. They only took a moment to install: simply pull them apart to your desired length, push the tabs with your thumb toward the counter and not your range (so you don’t scratch it) and slide them in. Because I have a curved lip in the front of my counter, they don’t sit exactly flush in the front so they won’t stop spills but they will stop veggies and other items from falling down there. Well worth the $29.99 price. As a side note, I may use a small strip of butyl tape to hold it down and help to resolve the potential for spills issue. Also, I wish they would include rubber covers for the tabs. This would provide additional friction to keep these gap fillers in place and, minimize damage to your expensive appliances.

These are OCES brand stainless steel stove gap covers. They come in a 2-pack and are easily retractable in length from 13.8" to 27.5".We are always having crumbs and other things drop down in the space between the stove and the counter. These are a perfect solution to fill in the gap to help prevent that from happening. They were very easy to install. Just expand them to make a perfect fit in the gap. There are small springs to fold out to help keep them in place.

I really like these stainless gap fillers for my range. They keep crumbs and spills from dripping down the side of the range. I have had plastic ones but they get nasty and they break. The silicone ones I had discolored and always felt greasy. These clean up easily and because they expand to a longer size they look nicer. They are very sturdy, easy to install and I am sure they will last for a long time. They were more costly then the plastic but so worth it. I recommend this product.

I really like these stainless steel stove gap fillers for my range. They stop crumbs and spills from falling down the sides of the stove, keeping my kitchen clean. I've tried plastic ones before, but they get dirty and break easily. These stainless steel fillers are easy to clean and look nice. They can expand to fit longer gaps, which makes them look better. Installing them was simple—just expand them to fit the gap, and the small springs keep them in place. They cost more than the plastic ones, but they are worth it. The quality of the product gives me confidence that they will last a long time.
