It works as described, however, it would have benefited to have been supplied with acorn nuts. The screws are a bit long and have a tendency of catching you as you exit the shower. I will definitely be taking mine. apart and changing the fastening nuts.

I had been struggling with a shower door that wasn’t closing tightly enough, leading to water seeping out. Installing the strip was straightforward. I just had to fit the magnet into the U-channel and then use the provided screws and nuts to secure the channel onto the door frame. The stainless steel material gives the part a durable and high-quality feel. It’s not overly heavy but feels solid, which reassures me that it will last for a long time.

I was able to use this magnet to fix a second shower door in my house that had its original magnet rust and fail. It was very easy to install and the size was a perfect match for my metal door. The screw-in base was great; I just drilled some holes into the aluminum frame and it screwed right in. Great value for a very strong set of magnets!

I got this magnet to replace my old one on the shower door, which had been rusted badly and broken apart. This one is made with stainless steel and there is nickle plating on the magnets. It should be more rust-proof than my old one. Hope it can last long. It matches well with my old door handle. The magnetic adhesion is pretty comfortable . The shower door is able to close up easily and quietly each time. Note the holes for screws are fixed. So make sure to check the distance if you are reusing existing holes on your shower door.

Cannot use the screws they gave you unless you cut them. If you want screw head in the shower (which is how my original was installed), the screw length prevents the door from reaching the magnets. If you put screw heads on magnet side you are inevitably going to scratch yourself if you inadvertently rub against them.Instead, I used the magnets (which are very strong) and put them in the original track. it was still the cheaper option to others sold on Amazon.

This is a very small unit but is exactly what I needed.Well made with a strong enough magnet.Check the dimensions to be sure this is what you need. They are not all the same.Made in China.
