No rust plastic handles are durable and the bristles are just the right stiffness to not be too scratching but adequate to clean sufficiently.

These wire scrapers are intense! A vigorous scrub with them clears away rust, corrosion, and other debris in touch to reach spots. Be sure to do a patch test beforehand to make sure you won't mar the surface of whatever you're cleaning because these bristles are extra course. They're a good size for cleaning small and hard to reach places, although when I was really scrubbing hard, I found them slipping out of my hand from time to time. They're tough and effective and reasonably priced.

The brushes are great for cleaning various areas around the house and working on mechanical items in the garage. I am careful to test the surface before using on a large area to be sure that there is no damage. Using low pressure when cleaning yields good results on tile and even painted surfaces. The rounded handle allows you to get a good grip on the brush. The wire heads do not shed and hold up well to use.

This are great sized wire brushes. It is easy to find large steel brushes but it can be difficult to find smaller ones like these. The brushes are about the size of a stand toothbrush, which makes it great for small areas. The stainless steel bristles are bunched tightly and are very durable and they don't easily fall out out during use. The plastic handle is slightly curved for ease of use. This comes in a pack of 5. These are perfect for automotive work where a small brush is needed for removing rust or other material.

Item description: Stainless Steel Wire Brushes, qty 5Brand: XDMTWLKJItem: B0DYJ9XK4RDate received: 2025-04-02Headline - Exactly as described. Great for scrubbing difficult-to-get-to mildew from narrow bath tile grout.Product Claims1 package, 5 count stainless steel wire hand brushes - white plastic handleThese arrived in a plastic bag. I did a test of one in our tiled shower and was able to remove essentially any spots of otherwise difficult to remove mildew in very narrow grout lines, without damaging either the surrounding grout or tile. Being stainless steel, these brushes can tolerate the wet/damp of a shower/bath without rusting. The plastic handle has a curve that allows you to apply it to flat surfaces without hitting your knuckles. For more complete cleaning, it would have been nice if the brush head itself had a bit of curve to it so that the more forward bristles were pointing at a forward angle, so that you could better clean corners (a suggestion for future improvement). Obviously that example was only one of many possible uses.A few details on size are below. The bristles of 0.008 inch diameter wire (the diameter of about 3 human hairs) are collected into groups that are 10 rows long by 3 rows wide, so 30 total groups. Each group of wires is made of approximately 12 U-shaped bent wires (producing 2 ends per wire or 24 ends per group) for a total of 720 bristles in the head. These bristles cover an area of about 3/8 inch wide by 1-3/8 inch long. The head itself is about half inch wide by 1.63 inches long, and the brush length from head to tail (not counting the curve length) is 7 inches, giving you plenty of room to hold the brush. However, the brush handle is fairly small (about quarter inch thick at its thickest, tapering down at the tail, and a maximum width of about half-inch, tapering to each end - so if you have difficulty gripping small items securely this could be a challenge for you (though you could add your own wrap to the handle to thicken it up). There is a small loop/hole at the tail to allow it to be hung, and there is a (frankly not very effective, but better than nothing) recessed finger grip at the midpoint. Despite any shortcomings I have to rate this item as 5 stars for the combination of utility and value.(I will note that if you are cleaning tiled surfaces and some of your tile or other fixtures is sealed with an elastomeric based sealant that is susceptible to mildew, this will only clean the surfaces and it will not remove stains that may have penetrated the sealant; if bleach won't remove the stains, you will probably have to remove the sealant and re-caulk,)

This 5-pack of stainless steel utility brushes (about 18 cm long each) is a great pack of sturdy, reliable brushes. I use the all the time for various projects, including cleaning corrosion off battery terminals (small, handheld powered items, that often have batteries leak, definitely NOT car batteries that are still attached to a power source). They work for so many projects where you need abrasive friction - just be careful not to scratch any delicate surfaces, because they definitely will do that.I go through these depending on how much I use them, and how hard I need to apply pressure. Some previous brands have frayed and the metal brush pieces have separated from the handle - this is not unusual to metal brushes, just be careful as to how any metal brush may perform. I don't have any experience with these yet, but I expect them to hold up well, given how well-made they seem to be.

The stainless steel brush heads are firm enough that you can apply a decent amount of pressure without deforming the brush.I especially like the curved handle on these brushes. It makes cleaning shower tiles and grout so much easier than using straight handled brushes and having my knuckles hit the surface of what I am cleaning.I also use these brushes for removing rust from old tools in the garage.

I bought these to use for cleaning bike parts and chains when I refurbish or repair one. There are obviously multiple other ways you could use them.Construction is like a toothbrush, but with longer metal bristles at the end.I have other wire brushes of varying sizes and types, but these are for more fine detail work and have held up well so far.A good value for the price at 6 bucks for the set of 5.
