I'm absolutely delighted with this LED Stair Step & Under Cabinet Light Kit! The warm white glow (3000K) is perfect for our stairs, and the self-powered wireless panel switch control makes it incredibly easy to use.The option for a wall switch was a major selling point for me. Without it, I think we would have ended up leaving the lights on all the time or never using them at all. But with the switch, it's convenient to turn the lights on and off as needed. This feature has been a huge benefit for me, as I have light sensitivity. Overhead lights can be overwhelming, especially when you're trying to preserve your night vision. With these stair lights, I can navigate the stairs at night without being blinded by harsh overhead lighting.Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stairway lighting solution.Pros:- Convenient wall switch option makes it easy to use- Warm white glow is gentle on the eyes- Self-powered wireless panel switch control is easy to install- Perfect for those with light sensitivityCons:- Should come with more lights.

This is an excellent project and a relatively easy one for any homeowner. The only requirement is that you have access to the underneath portion of whatever stairs you’re trying to light. If that's not a problem, then you’ll have no trouble installing these lights; it’s probably a 1—to 2-hour job for the average homeowner.Let me tell you how I did it. The instructions that they give are clear and very easy to understand. You locate by measuring the center of the step and want to go down about 1 inch. Drill a hole directly behind that 1-inch marking. You can use the device to measure and mark the step with a pencil. Then, see where the hole in the wire comes out of the light and ensure the hole is reasonably close to where the wire exits the white. Drill through the other side of the step, and repeat that with the rest of the eight steps from this eight-step light kit. They give you an additional set of probably 20 feet of low-voltage wiring. That’s to run to the location where you can get power for the lighting system under the steps. If an outlet cannot be found under the steps themselves, which is likely, you may have to go through a little door or whatever connects to the exterior and find the closest Outlet. Power can be obtained there. The product designers have also included two wireless switches, one for the top and one for the bottom of the stairs. When you activate these switches, they transmit a signal to the device that you have plugged into the power source, turning the lights on and off remotely.. No wiring is required for the switches, as they are essentially Bluetooth-enabled. The PowerPoint switch can also be pressed to turn the power on.All the connections you need to make have been done with custom-designed connectors you plug in. This connects all the low-voltage lights parallel to the trap transformer, which lowers the power. It’s an excellent product for anyone who wants to add extra lights to their stairway for added safety at night. I repeat the additional factors that you should consider for this: the availability of power and access to get under the stairs. Those are the only two potential problems with this setup. This is an excellent product.

These lights have a nice illumination effect for stair. They have a wireless self powered switch/remote control. The lights can be mounted with screws or included adhesive. One drawback I found was it’s limiting to the type of stair. They will work excellent for an open stairwell but it’s limiting once sheet rock and accessibility are present due to the wires connecting each light. Buyers should note the accessibility before purchasing so they know if they’ll work on the staircases that they will be installing them on.
