Induction Fan Kit Descriptions:
Induction fan circulates hardwood smoke through the cook chamber, adding to the convection factor versatility of your G grill for evenly cooked wood-fired food, Keep the fire's fuel flowing with a replacement induction fan.

Wood Pellet Grill Working Process:
Pellets compressed from sawdust and wood shavings fill a hopper and are then fed into a burn pot using an electric auger system. The auger, which is basically a long screw, delivers pellets to the burn pot based on the speed dictated by the unit’s thermostat. As the burn pot ignites, the pellets burn. Heat then carries through the home via convection (air driven) means, thus allowing air flow and a blend of warm and cool air to maintain steady, even burn temperatures. A heat exchanger separates the smoke fumes from the warm air, thereby warming the room without smoking everyone out.

For all my fellow RecTec owners out there, this fan fit perfectly and fired right up though you might want to remove your deceased fan and check the dimensions.Understand that pellet grills have a few more moving parts than a traditional wood smoker so you will have to replace a part occasionally, part of the price of convenience I suppose.Their deal on the fan motor, auger motor, and ignition stick is very reasonable and a nice thing to have handy. And you don’t have to lay on your back to do the part swap, just pull the grills and heat deflector and tilt the grill onto a wall or side of your deck so you can do the repair on your knees with your face staring right at the mount points.Don’t forget to zip tie all the wires safely away from both of the fans.

This was very easy to install! The last one had some wear on the blades. The one before it froze up and fell off! Hopefully this one will last!!

Fits perfect for a Traeger lil tex elite.15 minutes to remove and install.No nuts are included. Save them from the deinstalled fan.

My Traeger "Elite" induction fan started screeching a couple weeks ago, after about 9 or 10 years of pretty regular use...reviewed Amazon options and picked Stanbroil due to "Next Day" availability and especially "Nylon" fan blades ! (stronger)....To my surprise digging in the box, NO SCREWS are supplied.. guess they expect you to use the old #8 Hex head self-tapping screws...but mine were pretty rusted, so off to Ace to buy #8 STAINLESS Hex head self-tapping....50 cents each x 4...so now no more cruddy screws, especially out doors in humid environments ! Yes, you COULD buy philips, but I prefer not risking stripping screws, so hex-head it is.Yes, you might have to flex/bend a leg slightly to line up a screw hole, but 3 out of 4 lined up perfectly..don't freak out, just adjust it, it's not going to break anything, these things are tough, every bit as good as original....works GREAT ! 🙂NOTE: Controller pictured installed on my Traeger Elite is not original, it's after-market too..."Pellet Pro"...BIG improvement in pellet burn control, but had to fabricate my own wood adapter plate.

Product was used to replace my pitt boss pro induction fan.. Hardest part about install was trying to install the fan with the grill upright. Only four screws to remove and a plug it in. Easy, works great
