These are great, the assembly was straightforward and took less than 5 minutes. They aren’t as heavy as I thought they would be, but they aren’t flimsy either. The bottom has a container that’s meant to be filled with sand to give it some weight, but even without the sand they don’t feel in danger of toppling over very easily. The velvet rope has some weight to it so it doesn’t feel tacky or cheap. My only gripe is that the red looks slightly too bright and tacky in person. I wish it was a bit of a deeper richer red, but I feel like they will look perfectly fine in a dimmer room.

Stanchion 2 post set comes with red velvet rope with hooks. Appreciate how simple the set up is which can be done in minutes. You can add sand to the base to keep sturdy and upright which helps if unhooking and hooking to allow people pass through the stanchion. The gold is a nice gold color. The red velvet is just like the red in the photos more red than burgundy which matches most red carpets. The rope is 5ft long therefore to get a nice sag between stanchions distance between with rope is 4ft. Easy to take down and store. This is a great value to how attractive it is and comparison to others out on the market. Highly recommend!
