Works well and I chuckle every time I see the spaceship sitting on my counter. (Sci-fi fan). There’s no built in place to put the cord but I bundled it up behind the speaker with an elastic and it’s stays hidden.

Great value, perfect fit you just have to sit it correctly. It's sturdy and functional. And it doesn't effect the sound coming from the speaker. Cute!

I love my Echo Dot but wanted it to look a little different. After doing some searching, I found this amazing product. It is all metal and preassembled, so it is very sturdy and is ready to go out of the box. Great idea to get if you want to add some character to your Amazon Echo Dot.

We finally decided to upgrade to a new Alexa device (we had a 1st or 2nd gen puck-shaped dot), but I thought the new round style was a bit dumb looking on its own. Then I found this spaceship holder! So I bought it (despite being a bit expensive) and some chrome paint markers to make it cooler. Unfortunately, the chrome paint markers were very difficult to use, so it turned out a bit blobby. But overall I think it still looks okay. Might be hard to see, but I did little rivet dots around the circles too. I also accidentally did a slight smudge from paint on my fingers underneath the rim, which is why I drew a little "panel" repair in the spaceship.I think this holder is a lot of fun, and looks pretty cool. But wow, I did not notice the description saying it weighed over a pound! So that was a surprise since I assumed it was just simple plastic. I honestly am not sure what it's made out of, but it seems sturdy enough. We'll enjoy this for years. Oh, and I had no problem with the plug area, it was plenty big enough for the device to sit safe and straight inside the spaceship.

The stand looks very cool! And it's made out of high quality material. I would absolutely love to give it all five stars but the opening for the power cable is too small, it causes the light ring to not line up with the slits and to not glow as bright as it could.
