It turns out that in my initial post below the only thing true about this product was that it was easy to install. It turns out that when the weather was mild all was fine. With temps close to or in the 80's it reports up to 10 degrees low so I threw $28 down the drain. Won't even try to return as beyond 30-days. Oh well, when something sounds too good to be true it usually is.Have a 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe with about 75,000 miles. Has operated flawlessly until noticed outside temp often had no connection to reality. Ordered this and, with help of a utube video, installed it in about 20 minutes. Works great!

Temp sensor for a 2010 Nissan Sentra. The original one never worked right from the day the car was new. The dealer wouldn't do any thing about it under warranty. It totally failed at 60 thousand miles. This sensor from Amazon works perfectly and is half the price of the dealer item. It's also made in Japan. It doesn't come with the bracket shown on the picture .

I purchased this sensor to resolve erratic outside temperature readings. It was installed on an infiniti g37 coupe, 2009. The electrical connector on it fits exactly the same as the original. The sensor i received did not come with the bracket shown in the photo, but it would not be needed for the g37. The sensor is held in place by a plastic clip with 2 prongs. These prongs were spaced slighty different than the OEM sensor and would not allow this sensor to be firmly clipped back in place. I was able to very carefully trim the prongs shorter to make it work. Otherwise it could possibly be attached using a plastic zip tie or some other method to hold it securely without cutting the prongs, but that worked for me. After installing the sensor my temp reading is now correct.

This is simply a thermistor - a resistor that reacts to the ambient temperature and adjusts circuit resistance accordingly. It is a perfect fit for the '07 G35 sedan, and I suspect a vast majority of the Infiniti and Nissan vehicles from around that time frame.
