EGR shorted out internally, burning connector and ECU, very expensive, and shed a lot of blood changing ECU

First one i bought 6-7 years ago worked flawlessly, was having a few CEL so replaced it however after Doing a leak down test the new EGR was the vacuum leak causing my problem, the actual EGR valve was leaking internally. Noticed outside return window, bought a new one from a local parts store

I ordered this on March 10th. We promptly installed it as soon as it came in. Today is April 17th and the check engine light comes on. We take it to an auto parts store to have them hook the computer to it so that we could see what it's saying. The EGR valve. Yep, and the time limit on returns is up so I can't even have it replaced!! I am beyond frustrated because I am going to have to spend another couple hundred dollars that I can't afford! Don't order this valve!

Fit like it should. Easy to install. Fixed the problem. It came with a gasket. Didn't need the one I bought separately.
