Dont forget to purchase this “Standard Motor Products VS76 EGR Time Delay Switch” its for the egr and will help you fix it without any other issue. I was able to remove the egr without removing cooler by loosening and removing single top bolt and both studs with nuts leaving the one bottom right still in. Start by loosening the bolt, followed by using something to help with leveraging the cooler, “ Prybar wrench etc.”, not to much but just enough where when you hand loosen the bottom bolt, it will come out with the egr together but be careful not to drop the bolt. Clean, and proceed to install. Took me a bit of fighting at first but once the old one was removed which was the hardest thing to do, the install was done fairly quickly. I recommend replacing the vacuum lines while in the process of it all.

I received a defective egr valve from you and I tried returning it by march 2 but the return was not working and still no communication from amazon. I received a bad part from you. Will you help me. Where the vacum line goes in is loose fitting in there and should be air proof.

When I ordered it there was no mention if gaskets were included. Responses came back from others as yes and also no. Mine arrived with both gaskets and installation was fairly simple with exception of one short cap screw that mounts the EGR. I modified the head (ground it thinner and put a slight bevel on it ) and it went back together easier than it came out. I saw articles on cleaning the EGR rather than replacing, but with the hassle of getting it out and back in only to find out the cleaning didn't work, I opted to replace it with new.
