Amazon listed this as compatible with 97 Subaru legacy 2.2 l engine. It does not fit. I have to wait for them to get the part and issue a refund. So I have no car because of their mistake. the part that fits did not come up in my initial search so a week wasted here..once again Amazon messes up I I have to wait

Eaxt same as one I took off 2004 Subaru Forester. Fixing P1443 code. Cannister was the culprit though. Half the cost of dealer.

In an attempt to troubleshoot my engine code, I bought this. In a subaru baja its really tight to get in and swap out. But Doing it myself saved about $200. Taking out the old one I noticed there was leakage when the solenoid was closed and this sealed it back up. Though this did not fix the initial problem its an easy DIY.

Works fine and rather easy to install (I didn't think it would be, but it was) and I've had it on the cr for about a year or more and it works fine, car passed inspection

Product came in with broken piece, so I had to return it -- but it was what I was looking for and I may purchase it again because the price was good and shipping was fast -- just a shame to open a box when you are all prepared to do a repair only to find it broken. I suspect this should have had a little tissue in the box because the box was intact and no sign of damage -- so I guess it shifted around too much in the box while in transit.

Did the trick to turn off check engine due to P0420, Small Evap Leak. Expensive but not as expensive elsewhere.
