This product takes 12 volts to ground and my warning light turns on. The pressure builds in the water jacket block and cooling system hoses and radiator then the pressure gets to 15 lbs. The light goes off as the ground in the switch is removed opening the sender from ground the light goes off. When the system looses the pressure the contact is restored to ground the turn the RED light comes back on signaling the driver you are loosing pressure in the system and loosing water. Thus, it is going to run hot with pressure going down and coolant is being expelled.....save the engine! turn off the engine!!!!!
