This canister fit my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 perfectly. I reset the check engine light and it did not come back on. Well-built product I give it five stars

There is nothing wrong with this part. This part is not for all 2004 Chevy Silverado models

As far as we could tell the product was what we needed but it wound up and we did not need the part it was something else wrong with our pick up.

Not the exact replacement for the outside housing of the canister, but I made it work.Check engine light turned off a few days later and I saved a few hundred dollars doing it myself.

Prefect fit for 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 ext cab with 4.8L Motor. Yeah I keep a truck... I had the ole P0460 evap system code and changed the evap valves front and rear months before. That corrected the problem for a few months. But it came back and I got the 5/8" heater hose and removed the old line between the valve and the Vapor Canister and installed this Canister. I cleared the code and have ran the truck 4 good runs now and no code. I installed the new hose because the OEM line looked worn on the valve side. I also moved the Valve, (other reason for heater hose), so its filter opening is down so maybe less dust and crap will get inside. Funny I never get a code on this truck... Only the wife does hummmm lol... In my case I think after 16 years this is not such a bad problem to have come up.
