Replacement back up light switch that screws in to the transmission housing. Took more time to find the original one which was broken than to install the new switch.

I believe the part this product replaced was made of brass, and this one uses a much cheaper metal (I believe it is cast). While tightening, the "nut" portion broke off leaving the threaded half in my Jeep's T5 transmission. I was NOT cranking on it all at... it just never firmed up once it seated, breaking off instead. The only way to get the threaded half out easily would be to drop the tranny. I needed to get the vehicle on the road, so I ended up JB welding the outside half to the transmission body and luckily it all worked. If you do pick one up, be extremely careful when tightening.
