This module worked for a while in my 307 Olds powered Buick. It had a code for the ignition and had no advance curve. This fixed it, but then it started randomly quitting, just like the ignition was turned off. I knew better than to buy other than OEM for this kind of thing but tried it anyway. That was a mistake. Yes, I put the thermal paste under it, all of it. After warmed up, it would just die randomly. Started happening more and more often. I was suspicious of this new module, being a crappy brand, but couldn’t figure it out as it didn’t happen all the time. One day I had to push my car the rest of the way to work when it wouldn’t start back up. Unacceptable to say the least. I put in an AC Delco module for more money which is what I should have done in the first place and it is fixed.
