My reverse lights were not working and after verifying that all wiring was fine, I concluded it was the Neutral safety switch. I was correct. I replaced and aligned this switch and everything works just fine including my reverse lights. It even came with DI-electric grease in the electrical connection.

Fits 97 Camry, but problem persist. Shift lever still feels loose, and reverse lights still doesn't light up. It's as if I didn't replace it at all.

Works perfectly. it cleared the toyota code for the E shift solenoid fault code that came up, The car was shifting well prior to replacing,however there was a significant smoother shifting happening after especially at higher speeds, but could notice some improvement at lower also. Use two screw drivers crossing in an X fashion to pry old one off, need patients but will come off. For directions go to yu tube and type in Tyota E shift solenoid replacement theres a good one on there thats three part video and easy to change out.

I try as much as possible to buy OEM parts for my Toyota Camry 1999.Although I had my doubt whether this product would perform, the very large price difference won me over.I had to get a new switch because my backup lights would not come on when I put the car in reverse.Since its installation, those lights work again and I have no problem with the performance of my car.
