Always put a new crank shaft and camshaft sensor in at the same time. For Mercedes engines make sure you go OEM if you can. Made that mistake once and paid dearly at the worst place in the US... I-90 between Wall drug and Sioux Falls. Had to wait weeks to get the OEM version of the camshaft sensor. Crank shaft sensor isn't as sensitive. Bought this as a back up in case the OEM gives up again.

The part was installed on July 12 2023. My car started throwing the code again yesterday and started having all the issues related to the cam shaft sensor. Lesson learned! I’ll stick with the parts store for this one. Seen similar reviews also. Seems some may be defective. Luckily we have a few mechanics in the family, that work for cheaper labor!

I bought another brand locally and there was no change in performance and the check engine light stayed on. I learned later that most brands of camshaft position sensors have to be programmed or "learned" after being installed. I watched a guy on YouTube that said that this brand was one of only a few that do not have to be programmed or "relearned". So I ordered this one and installed it and the car started and ran like it should and the check engine light went off. I highly recommend buying this brand!

Part works fine and no problems installing. Very easy to install. Less than 3 minutes and it fixed the issues I was having with my vehicle.

Product did fit and work stopped the hard start and knock on low speeds. Do see some improvement on gas milage.
