I installed with minimal effort considering I had never done this before on my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. The attachment bolt is tricky to get out and then back in, but that isn't a reflection of this sensor. I have had no issues since installing this new sensor.

Used on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. I was getting intermittent faults with the original camshaft position sensor. I installed this sensor and the problem is gone. There is one thing to note on this sensor that is handy. The tip of the sensor is supposed to be positioned .020" from the camshaft gear. This sensor has a ".020" disposable tip" that makes setting the gap easy. All you have to do is first make sure the camshaft is rotated so there is not a camshaft gear "window" showing in the sensor bore and then set the new sensor in it's bore until the sensor bottoms out on the camshaft gear. When the engine is started the .020" disposable tip dissolves or is otherwise eaten by the engine and the .020" gap is guaranteed.

2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon - Had a timing cover coolant leak so replaced timing gears/chain while I was in there, put it all back together and had a P0016 code for misaligned crankshaft and camshaft timing. Replaced the camshaft sensor with this one and all was good again!
