Well made sturdy product that will correct your sockets from falling out. Nice pigtails for wiring connection. A lot of product for a meager price.

The metal clips are made of too thick of metal, so they have no spring, making them difficult to clip into the mounting hole without adjustment by bending with plyers.Also the two flat barbs that hold the metal socket into the plastic housing pull loose from the spring tension from the bulb insertion causing the bulb to fail to make contact with the positive center connection.I bought these to replace sockets of the same plastic design to change over from a single filament 1156 bulb to a double filament 1157 bulb. The 1156 sockets had the same problems as the new 1157 sockets.I threw these away and installed the metal DORMAN 85802 which fits a little loose but is not problematic. Stick with an all metal socket, unless it is a well designed OEM plastic socket.

Well made ,easy to wire and install. Would give it 4 stars except it takes some bending of the metal tabs for it to stay in GM light housing (67 Chevelle).
