Not sure if it’s the part or my truck. Seems so slow to react. The one on my truck was missing

1991 dodge Dakota 5.2L, v8 started idling high (2000 rpm) all of a sudden. Popped hood, could see that this part was not retracting ... bought the replacement here, installed it. Truck idling at proper rpm now (600-800 rpm), riding smooth.

After 3 months it’s still functioning! Worth the price.

Didnt fix MY problem but it fit. ***DOES NOT COME WITH NEW HEX NUTS TO ATTACH TO THE BRACKET***. youll need to order nuts for them. I THINK they were M5 nuts. Order them on amazon if you need them because a pack of 4 cost me $4 at an auto parts store. The bolt being used as the adjuster is REALLY long. Too long actually and it doesnt have a lock nut to lock in its position.

Installed on an 87 Jeep Wrangler 2.5. Didn’t fix my issue but thought I would try anyway. My issue is the ECU not controlling the ISA.This ISA works as I tested forward and reverse functions with a battery. The closed throttle switch is also working as I tested it through the jeeps diagnostic ports. It’s also pretty and shiny.Shipping was lightning fast!Update: 9/21/18, I replaced the ECU and now this new idle motor is working flawlessly!
