One day my car would not shift out of park and tailights were not working on my 2002 Honda Accord. I found the old brake switch to be defective. I replaced it with this SMP and perfectly all is working again. Great price and easy install under dash.

Hopefully will last. Sensor fixed my sons lock out for the gear shift and brake lights for his 2001 Honda Accord . All work off the same sensor by the brake pedal.

My father's 2003 Honda Pilot was having issues switching gear out of park. After some researching, seems this is a common problem for most cars when the brake light switch is failing. With some minimal effort, took out the old one and replaced it with this part and it works great.
