Amazon/seller replaced the bad part, no questions so far. I installed the new replacement part and my bike started right up. Hopefully this one lasts more than an hour.Update: Next day bike wouldn’t start. I traced it back to this part as I still had the functioning, yet melting original cam sensor. Unfortunately in testing out the new one I crimped the pins thinking maybe it wasn’t making a connection even though they appeared to be the same size. Now I can’t really return it. It’s junk don’t purchase this item as mine lasted a total of about an hour ride. Next day it was dead.Fit my 1999 Heritage Softail Classic perfectly. I was all set to splice the wires to my old connector, but I didn’t have to. The pins fit perfectly and the cable length is the same as the OEM. Just missing the Vehicle Altitude Sensor, but the bike seems to run fine without it. Had the classic Cam Position Meltdown/potting deterioration of the original sensor. This dropped right into place and my bike fired right up. Very happy with this purchase.

Installed on my 97 fatboy and this was a hard item to find anywhere. But glad i took a leap of faith and bought this. Works very well indeed!

Works as should with modification. You must leighen the wires about 10 inches to make the original connection. Cut old wires from original cam sensor and added them to make the correct length. Solder and heat shrink connections. The factory discontinued the part. I found this is the closest thing to the original. Know one aftermarket makes is exact fit for the 1998 dyna eco motor configuration.

No surprises wondering/hoping it will work after the relative difficulty to put it in...it just works, as one would expect. I'm extremely happy with it.The price is fantastic, the delivery was average...a day or two faster would have been nice for my situation I was in, but it got here, when it said it should, so all's well.
