I love these Pit Risers! If you want to keep your plants from sitting in water you need these especially for Hoyas. And these are much better priced than most places. They are very durable and you just can't go wrong with these In fact I will order another set to keep on hand to make sure I have enough for my ever growing plant collection.

I think they will work, but they are smaller than I imagined they would be. They do hide well under the pot and lift it up, but I have misgivings about their sturdiness due to their small size.

Love these, they’re great for ensuring drainage by raising the pot off the ground or surface. Very sturdy and dense. They look as pictured. The material is rubbery, which is a good thing considering how densely formed they are.

It's been about a year since I first tried these. I have a ton of outdoor planters on various surfaces and was looking for something sturdy to raise them slightly. Started with one packet and have ordered 3 times since. They have gone through rainy seasons, snow seasons (NE Ohio) and still work like new! Definitely worth it!

Nice sturdy thick legs to use under your plant vases. I use them outside under my planters during the spring, summer and fall.

Great product. Needed to lift my cedar planters off a new stone patio. Did the trick! Just high enough for no staining. I glued mind on so it was easier when moving the planters.

Smaller than we expected, in reality, but we have put them in to use and, presumably they will do the job for which they were purchased

I have a large, heavy, ceramic-potted bamboo on a Saltillo tile porch. Saltillo tiles are uneven and these small rubber ‘feet’ work on an uneven surface because they can be placed wherever needed to balance the pot. I ended up placing some of the rubber feet under the pot and then wedging more of them into the gaps between the tile surface and the pot. For years this bamboo pot rested on 3 very pretty ceramic pot risers which finally gave way during a strong wind. It took 14 of these little tiles to balance the pot almost as securely as it was when resting on 3 ceramic risers ~ and it still wobbles just a little while being barely raised off the porch surface. Even my smaller pots on an even surface required more than 4 of these pot risers to steady them. Without spending much time shopping, anyone can find an attractive way to lift their potted plants off the ground for not much more than the price one pays for these small rubber tiles. Be aware that they work best on pots with perfectly flat bottoms. Any pot with a dropped edge can be a problem ~ I had no luck stacking these tiles without knocking them over when attempting to place a container on them. I want to give 5 stars because someone has apparently found a way to recycle old tires into firm rubber tiles about 1” square and ½” thick. But this is a 4 star product at best and I am deducting one star because it is way overpriced.

This fall I started an outdoor urban container garden with 28 (and growing) potted plants.Pots need to be raised off the concrete so (1) the concrete doesn't get stained; (2) plants don't sit in water when it rains, causing root rot; and (3) when you want to do a deep watering, you know you have watered enough when the water starts to run out the bottom of the pot (which won't happen unless the pot is raised). Saucers solve the first problem, but not the other two and, in any case, saucers weren't the look I was going for in my sleek modern garden and few of the pots I bought had matching saucers. So, the urban gardener needs something to lift the pots off the ground. Since I am using sleek modern pots, not terra cotta, terra cotta pot feet (which I think are ugly anyway) wouldn't do. I was buying pieces of flat glazed ceramic at my local nursery to slip under the pots so they would float above the ground. That worked nicely until my nursery ran out. It was also an expensive solution, since the ceramic pieces were $2.99 each and each pot needed three or four.Enter Pot Risers from thrive/urban gardeners. They are considerably cheaper than the ceramic pieces I was buying at my local nursery and work just as well. I just ordered 100 more to accommodate my growing garden. That way when I buy a new pot, I will know I have Pot Risers ready for it (plus, I'll have some to give out to friends and family). We just had a huge rainstorm last week and it is nice not to have to worry about root rot from pots sitting in water.
