I ordered this knowing it was only 36" high and would probably only be able to use it as a display on a tabletop. This would not be good as a floor display.In my opinion the product photos are very misleading. There is no way an adult sized dress or coat could hang on this, it simply isn't tall enough. Small sized shirts, blouses, skirts, shorts, handbags or totes would work really well though.I like that the base has some weight to it and it feels stable enough. The hanging rod at the top seems a little shorter than it should be so you can only hang several non-bulky items at one time.

Very heavy-duty clothes rack! The base has some weight to it so make sure you put it on something sturdy. It's a small rack that works well for baby or kids' clothes. It will hold at least 5 garments easily with the weight of the base. Its a nice size and love that its height adjustable with tightening the screw. It looks good and is a nice color! It should last a while! A good price and value! Easy to assemble also!

This is a great way to hang items for taking photos or setting things up. It has a sturdy base (with padding on the bottom so it won't scratch things) but note the total height. It's not 4-5 feet tall. Fully extended it's maybe 3' tall? If you place it on a table or counter and just hang things over the edge though you can hang taller items, so its easy to work around.Assembly takes all of 2 minutes. Easy to assemble/disassemble as needed.

This is a great, little clothes stand. It'll hold about 15-20 garments if you smush 'em all together. Great for storing a week's worth of outfits, staging your laundry, or just moving your shirts to a safe, out of the way place. It's less than 3 ft. tall, so you'll want it on a table or stand to be eye level. Good for what it's supposed to be!

This hanging rack is super simple to assemble--just two bolts to tighten using the hex wrench that's included. The finish is flat black, so it's unobtrusive and fits in with any decor. The rack is easy to adjust to the desired height, simply by loosening a wing nut, sliding the sections together/apart to the desired height, then tightening the wing nut back up. The base has nice dense foam on the bottom side, to protect the floor or shelf upon which it's placed. In my case, I'm going to use it to hang a welcome banner for guests to my music building. My only negative was that the top hanger and the connection to the base don't "index"...in other words, there's no physical method other than gripping tightly with your opposite hand to ensure that the pieces line up correctly when assembled.
