Kept all my eggs for breaking. Closes tight. Highly reccomend if you go camping a lot and have to pack a lot in a small space and worry about things squishing. Super easy to clean.

This product met our needs during camping trips and travel. When not traveling, we use it to store our hard boiled eggs in the fridge at home, just to set them apart from the regular eggs in regular cartons. Sturdy and inexpensive, it's worth it!

Literally just minutes ago got this, and immediately tested it with some regular sized eggs. With the case shut and tilting it in different directions, at least two eggs came free and were lying on their side across two of the dimples that are meant to hold them.Also, at least one of the eggs seemed slightly larger than the others, so was touching the neighbouring eggs. No way these eggs wouldn't break inside our caravan fridge. Save your money, look for a better design.

Some large eggs will fit. Many will not. In that sense, it is not a lot better than every other egg carrier out there. Stores don't sell small enough eggs anymore, it seems.

1. The handle is incredibly flimsy. I do not think it could withstand being used to open the container. You would need to push the two snapped pieces apart.2. I couldn’t fit an entire dozen of eggs. I could only get 10 in and I had to shift eggs around a few times to get a combo that allowed the eggs to sit next to one another. A whole dozen should simply fit. I’m okay with it for now because I’m also bringing a carton of egg whites camping but if I wasn’t, I’d be pretty upset.3. The snaps to close the carton are small and seem strong enough but I can’t say that I believe they will hold up for long long term use but they will I think outlive the handle which is what matters since this is what helps protect your eggs.4. The portion that holds the eggs, while not great for my whole dozen, does seem like my eggs will be protected as long as the latches hold up and I do not carelessly handle or crush it. But from bumps and general thoughtful packing, these eggs are way more secure than they would be in a standard carton.In all, I am actually satisfied but it could be better.

What's great about this is that all 6 of my eggs made it to the backcountry site intact. What sucked was that I then had to eat 6 eggs at once because of all the rain that prevented me from preparing the other meals that would have had an egg in them. I do not recommend eggs over a fire. Eggs should go in ramen or something but 6 scrambled eggs cooked over a damp fire got all smokey and full of ash.
