the same/similar low-pressure radiator cap I received from Rock Auto, had a steel sealing ring that leaked, these have a rubber coated steel sealing ring that won't leak

It is too long to fir my 1955 ford original radiator and I bought a new aluminum radiator and it was too long for it. measured height vs old one and it is 1/2" longer.

I used this on a '37 caddy that was having the usual ethanol, running hot issues. The cap, along with the install of an electric fuel pump back by the tank, solved the warm weather problems. It is back to running the way it should.
