False advertisement! in all promotional photos the robes are shown stitched around the edges, what you get is a cheap bit o cloth that loosely resembles robes. hasbro should be ashamed!! and amazon should remove all of the promotional photos that show the robe fully stitched around the edges. this is really bad! hasbro needs to be called out on this every time they do something like this. they did the same this with Mace Windu's light saber, they had promo pics of the blade being a nice purple... in hand the blade was pink! nowhere close to being purple.

The improvements over the 2015 release of Palpatine is immense on this figure, from the head and hand options to the face print technology. The robes are still not perfect and can ride up around the hood which is a frustration, but of course soft goods are the key to this figure and getting him to sit in that impressive Throne. The robe lost it's stitches though.

False advertising by Hasbro regarding the Emperor's Robe, this is substandard robe and disgraceful compared to the previous released version. Just amazing that Hasbro has allowed this to happen. Thanks for Amazon allowing refunds.

This set was crazy to get and this release was much needed and value is given for the price. the dirty is the emperor's robe, hasbro replaced the great one from previous versions and use a horrible cheap replacement not shown on the images for this release, this is fraud. If you dont have a good robe from another release pick up the extremely cheap archive release

Beautifully crafted! It's like looking at that him in final scene from RTOJ.I almost paid $120 for this on Ebay and then found the preorder for this. I waited a year to pay the fair price. Good one, Hasbro!
