I would size up just to be safe. It fits but I don’t think it’ll fit long because it fits a little smaller in my opinion.

My 3 year old son loves this sweater. He is a tiny boy only 30 lbs and fits 2t I ordered him 4t so he could have it for awhile. Thank goodness as the 4t is like a tight shirt on him go up 2-3 sizes
