Great model. Generous size and the green colour is nice. Does the trick and the price was way better than the pull ones......and it didn't last long when we tried it. This Starfrit salad spinner lasts, I'm just replacing my after having it for years!

Just tried my new spinner which my daughter calls my new zweeeeesh!!! and it works perfectly and it fits a whole head of romaine lettuce and it comes out bone dry....I recommand highly.

This is a great spinner. It spins effortlessly. The handle on the side is a great idea. No more spilling salad, or scraping my own hand with the handle. For those that complain about cleaning the lid just spinning it while empty would cost centrifugal force to dry it.

I have tried my fair share of salad spinners. This is by far the best! The handle is so much easier to operate than those buttons in the center that I have to push down over and over and over again on other salad spinners. Additionally, the strainer insert is designed to wick water away! With other salad spinners, I still have to dry off solid leaves with paper towels. This one perfectly clears excess water every time!

This is a good spinner and different from our previous one. The first was reversible but this only spins one way. The button engages the brake so the water flies off through momentum. It's good quality lexan but it takes up a lot of cupboard space!

We bought one of these years ago are still using it, but we needed another. Was glad that they were still making them! Old one is black in color. I like this one better with the colorful green and white combination. Highly recommend.

The side handle is great along with the large bowl. It dries my salads fast and easy. It's much more comfortable using than my old crank on the top ones. The little bit of extra cabinet space it requires it totally worth it and I have plenty of cabinet space. This spinner's plastic inner and outter bowls are not as flimsy as some I've had. The stop brake is nice. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it looked I was sent a used one that somebody had returned - the top was scuffed and the box appeared to have been opened before. I kept it anyway to avoid the return hassle and other than not getting a brand new one I'm totally pleased. It's a snap to rinse clean so I don't bother putting it in the dishwasher.

This tool is the real deal. Makes washing raw spinach, lettuce, and similar things so much easier and does it more thoroughly. You can fill the bowl completely with water in your sink with the basket and lettuce in it. Agitate with your hands, remove the basket, dump out the water, then the fun happens. Put the basket back in and the top on, give it a quick crank, and the water is pulled away from the lettuce and captured in the clear bowl. Honestly, one quick crank is all that is needed. It is balanced so well that the spinning will continue for quite a long time. Push the button to stop it if you wish. Eating more healthy now with this, and not wasting food, as I also store washed and dried lettuce in a where it keeps beautifully for multiple weeks.I read a lot of reviews on salad spinners on amazon; I don't think you'll find one better than this. I've been using this for about a year with no reliability or durability problems.
