There are 2 "plug and play" Starlink ethernet adapters in this order. We are installing Starlink at our lake house, gathering the needed items for installation. These adapters are well-made and durable. The quality appears very good. The adapters are easy to use, as there's no splicing and crimping required. They fit our new Starlink setup. They water-proof the environment for the Starlink setup, preventing water, humidity and dirt from affecting the network parts. The cables are made of rubber and copper. Overall, these adapters appear very well-made and durable.

If you are wondering why use this? On starlink Gen 3 (or v3 or gen4, all the same), the connection from the router to the dish, is a normal ethernet rj45 cable. You can literally use any cable.BUT, normal cables wont seal from environment. So water and humidity can get in. Thats where this comes in.This adapter will connect in the dish, sealing from water and humidity, and then it has a water proof Ethernet connection to use the cable you want.In my case I have a flat cable that I can run over a door (I cant make a hole in the wall), that I use with this adapter. If the cable ends up breaking because of the door, I can easily replace it too (cost 1/3 of the starlink ethernet cables) and I can get the long that I need dont wasting space and loose of signal on those starlink super long cables

I used a different brand for my first installation in my other RV, they were good and do the job. These seem a bit better quality in comparison. I like that these give me the flexibility to use a standard shielded ethernet cable to run through the walls and to the roof of my RV. I can make up the ethernet cable to the length needed and don't have to purchase an expensive Starlink cable and hope it isn't too short or way too long. I can drill smaller holes and terminate the ends at the exact length I need. These establish a weather-tite connection to the ethernet cable and to the Sarlink dish and modem. These are good quality and serve the purpose that they were intended. I am happy with the purchase and would order them again.

I purchased a backup cable from Space Exploration Technologies for my G3 Starlink dish when I bought the kit - as a backup. When I moved my dish to another residence, I left the old cable in place and did what any normal person would do - grabbed the new one (the extra I purchased) and did a complete install, figuring it would work perfectly. It did not work at all! Dissapointed does not describe my feelings. I was really red hot! I have been waiting to receive a replacement cable from Starlink and ordered this one, figuring that I'd use whichever one arrived first. This kit arrived first, I'm glad to say!I had a 60' Cat 6 ethernet cable left over from a previous install, so I used it in conjunction with this kit. The 'outdoor' end has an RS485 plug with a weather seal, packing gland and backshell to make the Cat6 plug and socket connection watertight, the 'business end' that plugs into the dish has the triple ripple seal where it plugs in. No worries! I can clearly see that this assembly is watertight. Fits like a glove! As a person would normally do, I ran the Cat6 cable in through the roof gable end and thru the attic into my house, plugging the other end that came in the kit into my Starlink router. What do you know? I powered it up and the dish & router were connected! Hallelujah! Searching for signal...five minutes later we were online. This kit will save you the pain and anguish of having a bad cable, the wrong length of cable or both. You provide a decent Cat6 cable with at least 22awg conductors (needed for POE) and with this kit - you're home free!An excellent trick to solve a really bad problem. It's just awesome.
