The item has vary strong magnets. The magnets are rubber coated, no harm to the vehicle. it comes with an extra screw (5), and the allen key, which is usefull wjen bought on the go. It holds the dish very strongly to the roof of the car. The item is well built, feels strong (both metal and plastic parts), and don't attach to the bottom of the dish {no blocking any of the signal)cons: the magets are fix in both distance and angle. this could be problematic if the roof is not flat and the magnets don't align with the crests of the roof. This product can be improved by adding a plate that allows the magnets spacing to be changed, and even better also the angles at which the angles interface with the roof. I might have to open new holes o it to be able to change the distance between the magnets.

This mount is well made. The baseplate is stamped steel. The magnetic feet are extremely strong. The dish attachment slips easily on and off the antenna after releasing the lock. I’m very pleased with how well it holds to the roof of the car. I’m not worried about the dish moving while driving down the road.I have two mounts for my Mini. One I use when mounting to the inside of the sunroof, and this one, that I use when mounting the dish to the roof of the car. The compact size and design of this mount let me keep the inside mount’s protective cover on the dish and still use the mount. Makes moving the dish in and out very easy. All in all, a very good design.

These mounts were perfect for my starlink mini, my husband’s car has a small moonroof and the way they mount is great!!! It fits perfectly with the ability to replace the suction cups if they get damaged or worn out with similar ones from big box stores. Its definitely a quality product and great shipping time. Prior to finding this I had used Velcro straps and suction cups to mount in my SUV , while we were in National Parks. It worked that time but still moved around quite a bit and was down about 2 inches from the glass.. this one now is solid construction. It has just the right flexibility, and it fits roof of my vehicle. Perfect place so far for a Starlink Mini..

I’ve tried a few mounts for my Starlink Mini, but this one takes the cake. It’s incredibly sturdy, with the four neodymium magnets giving it an impressive 50 lbs of holding force. Even during windy conditions or fast driving, my Starlink stays secure. I also love that it’s designed specifically for the Starlink Mini, so it doesn’t stick out or look bulky. Very easy to attach out our car roof. Very strong magnetic hold. No dragging or scratching even in open freeway higher speeds driving. We are very happy with it.
