This is well made and the parts are sturdy. The pipe seems to be fairly thick-walled, so that should help with wind. A base is included that can be secured with the buit-in "spike" on the bottom or with concrete anchors. The one problem for me is that the spike is too short to use with out sandy soil. To put my Starlink antenna on a pipe in this soil, I would probably need a 1-2 foot long spike, to get well in to the solid subsoil. My other option is the use the concrete anchors, which I may try, but that will be a Spring project.I think this is a good mount, and I am more likely to use it by clamping the pipe to another pipe, mounted on a building. That seems like the best chance to get a secure and wind-resistant installation. Perhaps a pipe clamp should be included in the package.

This is a helpful tool to position our startling when camping. We camp with horses and normally prefer to have a tree line for the horses which isn’t great for the Starlink. This allows us to position it better and also help make it more visible. We did order a longer cord to go with it as well. The poles are well made and have nice secure threading that get very tight and feel secure. It was easy to mount in the pole as well. There is a stake off the bottom or the pole, but I feel like more is needed for stability in sandy soil. I used large rebar hooks on each lag for added security. It never did fall, but the equipment is expensive to replace and didn’t want to take a chance. Overall it’s a great accessory for Starlink but just could use some extra supports.

So this starlink pole didn't fit my starlink like planned but still used it lol. The pole is definitely well made! The spike at the end ensures that it is stable. Insure that you have the correct starlink
