I selected this mount because I really wanted to avoid holes and potential leaks in my roof. The package included mounting hardware for both the standard and high-performance models of the Gen 3 Starlink. The included instructions for both kits featured color pictures along with written guidance. In my opinion, the instructions were a bit vague. What they didn't mention is that you need to remove the pre-installed kickstand on your Starlink before attempting to attach it to the mount. I struggled with that for a bit until I realized the kickstand was removable. However, that might have been more of an operator error on my part. Once the kickstand was off, it snapped into place just as the instructions indicated it would. On the roof, the mount sits securely with the counterweights holding it in place well. It has not budged during several rain and wind storms. I feel confident that this is a great long-term solution. Once the Starlink is installed, it is adjustable to ensure your alignment is correct, but only swivels; it doesn't move up and down.

1. Delivery was 2 days late2. Instructions are very generic. Images hard to follow.3. Item doesn’t mount properly to the dish and does not secure as stated in instructions.4. You can orient dish but tilt position is fixed and you can’t adjust slope angle as advertised.

This roof Ridge mount for Gen. 3 starlink satellite arrived in new condition inside of a generic looking, heavy box. It came with two separate double sided inserts with instructions on them. Both appear well written and have color pictures to illustrate setup, though they are a bit vague. The mount itself is made of both metal and plastic components. The counterweight is quite heavy. It is a bit pricey compared to those with similar features.

Its easy to install. Instructions were not detailed enough. I never did get the mounting pole as tight as it needs to be. I think in a strong wind the satellite will turn away from the position it needs to be in. We'll see.
