The starter arrived early and was exactly as described. It made my dad’s day! He was struggling to find a starter like this one, so I was pleased to find one at an affordable price.

Trying to convert my GX390 to an electric start and this was the first piece I ordered. I have a flywheel coming as well. I bench tested this and it seems to work good. It has an obvious gear reduction that is exposed to the elements which should be OK, but I could see rust being an issue if around excessive moisture. It's possible all these starters are like that but not positive, I don't have any experience with these little motors. Initially this should work good for my pressure washer.

I looked the starter over and it was a good quality starter. The only problem we had was the starter was it was not the starter that goes with this engine. It had threads in the holes that should be no thread, and it didn’t even fit the motor that it said it was supposed to fit, the question from what I understand has a lot of different configurations so it’s not the fault of the shipper or the quality of the part.It just did not fit my configuration
