It’s works as it should. Programing is kind of tricky. Installation was very easy.

Great value for this remote starter. The 2017 Dodge Challenger instructions are incorrect (book shows an older model) which was a challenge and I wasted a bunch of time taking apart the center radio console when it wasn’t necessary. The written instructions were a bit vague and not easy to follow. I wasn’t able to find a video showing my make/model but eventually I figured it out and the device works great.

Do not follow the guide for removal of climate control part/console. That is incorrect and only for older models. I had to remove the entire middle console, shifter, cup holders, arm rest and even then it was pointless because there is more plastic blocking access to start button. So follow the guide for removal from oracle lighting on YouTube. You will take the sides of dash off, unscrew the two screws on side (8mm) by driver door that help hold the bottom plastic cover for the steering wheel. Gently, pry around all the edges of that bottom plastic cover, disconnect all the wires there should be three closest to the driver side door (Note* The middle connector here has a red tab that needs to be slid forward before you can disconnect it) and one on the other side. Now you will have to take off the metal support plate 4 bolts (10mm), once that is off you will have access to the remote start button but barely (Note* It’s a long cylindrical encapsulated piece of plastic) Now here is where most people struggle they try to unclip the push start wire from this position. On the left and right side of the plastic cylinder towards the actual start button there are two push tabs to release the button out the front with the wire attached. I will attach the photos that I took. Ignore the missing center console because I tried that first. After that it was pretty easy setup and works great!

This product does work, I've got it installed and it turns on and off my car, haven't noticed any problems so far, awesome. HOWEVER, be careful about ordering this as mine came with an incorrect depiction of my head control unit. My 2016 challenger has one solid piece for this control unit and my shifter, like see in the picture. The guide painted it as two separate units that I could remove to access the push start button, no dice. I had to remove the panel under the steering wheel and bend the t harness wires back so that I could get the plug into place, took far too long and killed my hand.

My challenger didn't come with remote start and been wanting to add It for a while now. So I search around amazon, found this remote start kit and good thing I did. Installation and programing took me 20 minutes. easy and cheaper than to take it to the dealership. definitely recommend.

I've had this on my car for about a month now, and it's working great. It was very easy to install, only a screwdriver and trim remover was needed. For my vehicle it had to be programed, a laptop or computer is required for this. The whole install took about 20 minutes. It's been working great so far, my only complaint is it starts up kind of slow. You have to hit the unlock button on your key fob 3 times in a row, after that it takes about 6 seconds for the car to start, so about 10 seconds from the first click of the unlock button.
