My wife says these socks are warm & comfortable, but can't really attest how warm - it hasn't gotten terribly cold in Ohio since we received the socks. As other reviewers have noted, they are not as soft as other cashmere we have. The seller, State Cashmere, emphasizes the authenticity of the cashmere in the product description and included materials, so I have to assume it's legit, but don't expect the silky super soft we associate with cashmere.They fit well, but are quite long. My wife is approx. 5' 6" and has what I'd call normal proportions. She can wear slacks and jeans off the rack, so I don't think she has short legs. These socks come up 2-3" above her knees. Not a big problem - she just rolls them down to create a cuff.They are definitely nice socks. Are they worth the price? That's ultimately up to you.

These socks are real-deal cashmere ! Ultra soft and silky-like; they give your feet a wonderful feeling of warmth and contentment all day.I thought for minute "why would they put a TAG inside the left sock though.." and now that I look back and think about it, I could care less. That tag itself is so silky smooth, I forgot it was even there, and I think I will just leave it forever. Definitely the softest and smoothest socks I ever owned!

I got these knee highs hoping that they will help me stay warm this upcoming winter. The label says they are made of pure cashmere. They do feel soft, especially on the inside, but they don’t feel like my cashmere sweaters. These sock are very long and feel tight on my legs, which probably should get less tight as I wear them more often. They are not too thick (not too thin, definitely) and I can wear them underneath my jeans with winter boots. They seem durable, but time will tell.

As a 5' 8" tall person, I do struggle finding shirts that are long enough for my frame, but this one was just barely long enough for my liking. I would've preferred it was an inch or two longer. But I have a long torso, so that may not be an issue for you. My bigger beef is with the arm holes, which are just too tight. I don't like having material bunched up in my armpits, and my 130ft frame was not slight enough to have this not be a problem. Then it went through the dryer accidentally, and now I can't wear it anymore at all, so it's being donated.
